How to a motivate and engage employees

Excellent book on motivational safety by Dr. Scott Geller written with light touches, case studies and examples. Geller gets down to what really works that starts with engaging employees and offering participation that includes observation skills and coaching inclusive with employee commitment. Well worth the investment with a basic understanding of human nature.

Total Safety Culture: A Concept for High Performance

This is by far, the best book on behavioral safety I have ever read. Dr. Geller has a very laid back style of writing, which is very comfortable to read and easy to understand. He outlines many psychological theories in a very comprehensible manner, and reinforces ideas with models and anecdotes from his own experiences.
My interest in Total Safety Culture was its application towards unleasing latent resources in the union environment, essentially making safety a common ground for labor relations. This book is well worth the money, and a cover to cover read will likely make you want more.

Extreme Dark Fantasy Erotica

At just 20 years old Lady Mariel is practically an old maid. She would have married long ago had her father not squandered their fortune leaving them with barely enough to survive. Her mundane existence comes to an abrupt halt on the day that Behsart comes to collect her. Mariel's father has sold her to be offered as a bride to the seven demons of Daeksould - the dark demons from whom Lord Valdamer draws his power to rule the land. Each of the demons will sample their bride before she is finally delivered to Valdamer to be sacrificed; but if the demons are well pleased, it is possible that Mariel's life may be spared.

The demon named Behsart occupies the body of a man once known as Cavan, Lord of Reugal. Overpowered by the dark demons, the spirit of Cavan barely exists within the confines of his possessed body. Mariel's escort to the seven temples carries out his duties without questions or emotions. She knows that any plea for her release would fall on deaf ears. But as their journey stretches from days to weeks and her body is used in countless sex rituals, something curious starts to happen. Behsart's control weakens as Cavan grows ever stronger. Time is running out and the lusty demons are determined to claim Mariel for their chosen bride, but Mariel refuses to give up hope. Her soul is at stake, and if she can appease the demons long enough to help Cavan oust Behsart from his body, then there is a small chance that she can save them both.

BELLY OF THE BEAST is an erotic fantasy tale that takes the reader to the extreme. Fans of Anne Rice's "Sleeping Beauty" trilogy may enjoy this story as Mariel is taken from home against her will and thrust into a world of relentless sexual mastery and forced pleasure. The absence of outright cruelty may make Acuna's BELLY OF THE BEAST more palatable for some, but readers with a low/medium tolerance for heavy BDSM themed stories are strongly urged to bypass this novella. Though the final chapter feels a bit rushed, this dark tale has a surprisingly upbeat ending; so if you enjoy reading fantasy stories about no holds barred demon sex (and lots of it!), BELLY OF THE BEAST is worth checking out.

taking in that this totally make believe world some hard core sex and no consenting sex. if you can get past that then the general story is not to bad. Although once you have read one of these books by this author the story becomes a bit repeative in the other books similar senerio's and sex scenes

About the Author

John C. Russ has used image processing and analysis as a principal tool for understanding and characterizing the structure and function of materials throughout his more than 50-year career as a scientist and educator. Much of Russ' research work has been concerned with the microstructure and surface topography of metals and ceramics. He has received funding for his research from government agencies and from industry. Teaching the principles and methods involved to several thousand students―in addition to consulting for many industrial clients―has further broadened Dr. Russ’ experience and the scope of applications for image processing and analysis. He continues to write and consult for a variety of companies (and to provide expert testimony in criminal and civil cases). He also still teaches image processing and analysis workshops worldwide and reviews publications and funding proposals.

F. Brent Neal is a scientist and industrial researcher with Milliken Research Corporation, where he currently leads the central materials characterization and analytical chemistry facility. In this role, he leads efforts in technology and product development through deep understanding of materials performance. He has three patents issued or pending based on his work in polymer-matrix composites. Prior to his tenure at Milliken Research Corporation, he consulted and developed bespoke software for quantitative image analysis. He received his Ph.D in solid-state physics from Louisiana State University in 2002. Over the course of his career, he has measured and analyzed images from many different fields and his experience in materials characterization and measurement has been applied everywhere from the lab bench to manufacturing plants.

About the Author
John Ingledew is the author of The A–Z of Visual Ideas and Photography. He has taught and written about design, photography and creative thinking for 20 years, worked at universities in Europe, America and Japan, and recently helped to set up an Art School in northern China. He is a Visiting Professor at The London School of Film, Media and Design at The University of West London.

I've only skimmed through it, but overall a decent book, just expect to have to break out a few crafts and supplies to pull off some of these challenges.
